Research Central

About Research Central

Research Central was created in 1999 to help mideastern Michigan high school and college students acquire research skills by working with area schools to bridge the gap between assignments and resources. Then in the fall of 2003 it was redesigned and rewritten by FALCON (Flint Area Library Cooperative Online Network) to be more focused on the explaining different technical details of writing research papers. FALCON wanted to give area students a single good resource to go to in order to improve their writing skills.

The site is compliant with the XHTML 1.0 Transitional DTD and uses CSS1 standards.

Reference Librarians at Genesee District Library, Lapeer District Library, Baker College, Kettering University, and Mott Community College provided content assistance.
